Hmm I know just a few years ago they added the rule that allowed the visiting team to call the flip before it was flipped instead of being in the air and the other refs would stand around to prevent cheating or any problem that might arise. grandpa told me the referree has flipped all his life so he was born in 1926. So I can safely assume somewhere between 1892-1926. No other way to narrow it I'll guess 1920 just for the hell of it.
