Tell him he has the right to start whoever he wants.... and whoever he starts this week will start for him in the first week of the playoffs.

I like this idea the best, but anyway, I emailed him privately last night and told him that it kinda stood out that LT2 was on his bench and the perception that he was throwing the last game to manipulate seeding didn't look good, etc...so he replys and downplays it saying he was just f'ing around to see if anyone would say anything, but he changed it back this morning. I guess he thought it was funny that his projected points went from 104 to 67. He is apparently easily amused.

Tanking in my book is only wrong if you're doing it to help someone else. In this case he's doing it to help his own team. Seems OK to me.

I see nothing wrong with it. In fact I'll be doing basically the same thing this week. If the team I'm playing wins that might keep the team with LT out of the playoffs. My position is probably not going to change regardless of win or loss.

I would penalize him by dropping LT to your team. Then say it was in the rules.
