Ohio State is no longer #1...

in college basketball anyway. My Heels took care of some business. It wasn't always pretty but they got the job done and got a quality win early in the season.

Ohio State looks pretty good. They will be a little better with Oden. I still think they're a Final Four team.

I don't think they're a final four team. Like NC, they're so young. It was a good game with some pretty ugly stretches by both teams. Experience counts when it comes down to the Madness.

New #1 is probably UCLA. They haven't really played anyone yet, so that'll probably change.

Impossible to say so early. As is typical, it was nearly 3:1 in free throw opportunities. A lot of that is the OSU perimeter style of play, but you still have to believe on a neutral court it would even things up a bit. Allow their big men to be a little more physical.

Exciting game, though, which is the important part!

Ask Michigan's Fab 5 about that...or ask Florida how they won with sophomores running the show last year. Yes, experience counts, but you play 3 1/2 months before March begins.

dgan...when you shoot the ball from 3 point range the whole game you're not going to get free throw opportunities. UNC pounded the ball inside so they got some calls. There were many more calls that weren't made.

Both teams are overrated IMO. Maybe I'm biased, but I really don't think UNC can beat truly good teams consistently with only an overrated Hainsborough (sp?) to lead them.

Tyler Hansborough is the real deal. I think he's the POY this year.

Spoken like a true Duke fan. Do I need to remind you that you beat Indiana by 3 on your home court???? And you're supposedly a top 15 team. In case you didn't notice, Hansbrough wasn't the only one scoring last night.

Wait, what's that I hear....Hansbrough going for 27 & 10 vs. Shelden Williams in Durham. He went for 14 & 9 against him in Chapel Hill. He sure looks overrated to me.

And, for the record, Hansbrough is the real deal...and he is better than Noah.
