How will the weather affect tonights game.

Does the bad wind and rain for tonights game affect an offense more or a Defense.

I know there will be alot more short passes,with the wind and rain.That should be good for Housh,but maybe not so good for C. Johnson and Henry that run the deeper routes.

Basically the team with the better running game wins.I think Cincy will be more affected than Baltimore.Bad weather doesn't mess up a Def. as much as an offense obviously.

I had picked up McNair but dropped him after weather reports got continually worse for the game. I think therell be some passing, but almost all of the game will be on the ground, which should bode well for JL owners. The Balt defense will stuff any attempt by the Bengals to run IMO.

I was considering starting McNair over Grossman..but not anymore.

Surprisingly enough, It's not going to be that cold so it wont be as low scoring as you would think.

The cold isn't the only reason it would be low scoring- if it's so wet they can't hold onto the ball or lose their footing, that would hurt.

That being said, you never really know how it's going to affect the game. Some people say it's easier to grip the ball when it's wet, but not too wet. Most say it helps the defense because teams are less likely to take chances, others say it helps the offense because the offensive players know which routes they're going to be running, so they're less likely to slip and fall.

Does Rudi stumble in the backfield or does he break through the line and the safety stumbles and he breaks a long one. Time will tell, can't wait for the game!

The weather isn't supposed to be really wet until the second half of the game.
