Kerry Collins or should I say St. Nick?

Postby Waikele Waverunners » Mon Oct 13, 2003 3:03 pm

WTF I mean Collins was supposed to have a good year. He's my back up and I'm scared stiff that I have to start him next week, Manning is my #1. I mean is he even worth keeping at this point?

If there is good QBs on the WW, get one. I don't trust Kerry right now.

I think my theme for this week and for the coming weeks is... Do you actually watch real football or just read stat lines? Not to criticize you in particular.

Kerry Collins has always been a marginal at best QB. He has the ability to make precise throws at times, but he has been very inefficient with the ball. Maybe he can't tell the difference between Giant Uniforms and Patriots uniforms, I dunno. Guys don't change overnight. He has never had a "great year" before so why would this year magically be any different? Jim Fassel is in my top 3 list of coaches who are morons that deserve to be fired. Sure, the o-line is a little shaky, but he has all those weapons around him and can't get it done. He is on my no-draft list as far as fantasy football goes.

Totally agree. He had 19 TDs last year with the same coach, same offensive weapons and better o-line. Before the season, people were saying Shockey would catch 12 TDs and Collins would throw 30. Right.
