Will Thursday's night game be on regular TV or not

It might be because the game is being shown on another network. In the US, I think for people in the local markets they get it on local TV while the NFL Network is blacked out.

Just get the most simple plan and package from Dish Network.. only like 30 bucks per month for 4 TVs (compared to like 50+ for the most basic plan offered by Time Warner).

Yea, the game should be on NFL Network here in the States, but the problem is, the NFL and cable companies are fighting over the fee the NFL wants to charge for NFL Network. So lots of people don't even get NFL Network.

I didn't want to pay for the premium cable package because I don't watch TV all that much, so no NFL Network for me.

So I just clicked the NFL Network on and it's not the Ravens/Bengals game, it is some stupid "Football Night in America" show.

There are at least 5 companies that are not airing the game on their NFL network affiliate due to one reason or another. This might answer some questions.

If you get NFL Network, you still might not get the games. The network wanted extra $$$ from each of the cable companies that carried it or they'd feed alternate programming during game times. I know of at least 5 companies that don't have the games.

Can't get the game on the local ABC affilliate.
Can't get the game on the NFL Network.
Can't get the game on NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV. (it's not Sunday).

This is plain stupid.

NFL and their lame ass NW do battle with the cable monopolies and who ends up the victim: US!!

Well, the sports bars are happy. I went there and the place was absolutely packed.

As far as the game, what a shame that so many people missed this one. It had all the feel of a playoff game. Absolutely fun to watch. Glad I didn't decide to skip it...I almost did.
