USC barly beats UCLA- i.e. USC-14 UCLA-13 on a last second hail mary.

Does Michigan jump USC because the win was unimpressive, or is a UCLA win really Michigan's only hope?

The only way UM has got a chance is if USC loses.

I agree. At this point, a win is a win. After all, you only have to look at where Florida is ranked and it is obvious voters (or computers) care little about how a team wins.

I don't think even the smallest margin of victory will push USC down enough. I think a loss is the only hope. It is possible, just not probable. :-/

UCLA is better than they are getting credit before. Their defense is honestly capable of shutting down pretty much anyone. They would have beat Notre Dame if they hadn't gone to the ridiculous prevent D.

That said however, USC is on a roll. They win this one by at least 2 touchdowns.

I believe USC would have to lose for Michigan to move ahead of them. I think the new computer rankings doesn't take margin of victory into consideration.

with a win in the sec championship i wouldn't be surprised if florida hopped michigan in the bcs. so i thinkk it is moot if usc loses. michigan is done. they missed their chance. they may be the 2nd best team in the nation, but they had their shot and they lost. it was a great game. and part of me wants to see a rematch, but if michigan wins i don't want to deal with that.

I agree with most of the comments about USC but this I desagree with. There is no way Florida jumps them unless the literally win by 70 points. If you look at the points, they are too far away from Michigan to jump them, and if this happens, you get to a point where Michigan is getting penalized for ending the season earlier than Florida. If USC barly wins and stays ahead, fine. But I would be upset if Florida jumps Michigan.

IMO if Michigan ever played USC this year Michigan wins by at least a TD though. But USC deserves a shot at Ohio State if they win at UCLA.

This may be a moot point next year. I don't believe it has been passed, though I may be wrong, but I know they are trying to get "The Nebraska Rule" implemented which would make it so a team that doesn't win it's conference can not go to the title game.
