The 1998 Minnesota Vikings. They went 15-1 and still hold the record for the most points scored in a year. Moss' rookie year.

Maybe the best team to never win a championship, but not the best team of all time. You cannot be the best of all time if you couldn't even win your conference.

1985 Chicago Bears - Super Bowl XX Champs -including a superb comback on a certain night against some guys in purple. Only game up 10 points in three playoff games that year. Beat the Giants 21-0, holding Joe Morris to 32 yards on 12 carries and aided by Sean Landetta's whiffed punt. Next, the Rams 24-0 by holding Eric Dickerson to 46 yards on 17 carries w/2 fumbles.

Super Bowl 46-10. 'nuff said.

Bears also own the record for most wins in a 5 year span - 62 - in NFL history.

Agreed with emaja - in terms of pure dominance, the '85 Bears have to be considered as one of the best ever. That team was simply fearsome.
