THey're also #2 in the AP poll which leads me to believe they will probably be #2 in the Harris poll as well. THings are not looking good for Michigan fans.

AP Poll is 1,529 to 1,526 so they're basically even. Don't think that really gives any indication of the Harris.

Looks like BCS rankings will be announced live on Fox at 8:00 PM ET (5:00PT) tonight) - they have a half-hour special scheduled.

Doesn't matter- an "unnamed source" from the LA times said Florida is #2 in the BCS- I don't know why they would say that if they didn't know- its complete BS, but Florida is in for the sole reason that they got to play a conference championship game and michigan didng- so unfair.

I don't see how it's unfair...

I mean, Michigan did have their shot, and they lost.

That doesn't make them worse than Florida. Vegas gives 3 points to the home team which is exactly what Michigan lost by. The nat'l champ game is the 2 best teams regardless of everything else. Now you are penalizing Michigan for having to play Ohio St. earlier in the year?

They're actually penalizing Michigan for playing Ohio St. later in the year now. Had they played 2-3 games into the season then Michigan won out I don't think anyone would argue against them being the #2 team. Since Michigan lost to Ohio St. in their last game and didn't drop any, I think that's where some of the arguing is coming from. How many times do you see a team lose and not drop in the rankings?

But, to be fair, I didn't really think moving USC or Florida ahead of them in the polls was the right thing to do considering Michigan didn't lose a game. If they were #2 after their loss to OSU, then a USC win over Notre Dame shouldn't have changed that.
