Say Florida beats Ohio State
and then Boise State beats Oklahoma

Should Bosie State be voted number one in the Coach's Poll?

The coach's poll is required to vote the winner of the BCS championship game #1, so even outside of the obvious answer to this question it's not possible.

No sir. Until Boise State steps up their out of conference sced they definately are not deserving. Play the teams everybody else is playing every week, then we can talk.

Definitely. If Michigan wins the Rose Bowl and Florida in a game that is anything less than a classic, Michigan will finish #2.

No prizes for 2nd place however.

This is very true.

I think if UM wins an UF loses, no matter the score UM is number 2

Absolutely. There's no way they shouldn't be. For all intents and purposes Michigan is the #2 team in the land RIGHT NOW - they just aren't being voted there because the pollsters don't want a rematch. It's unfortunate that what are most likely the top two teams in the country have to be from the same conference this year.

Hey, Big 10ers - is there ever a year where Michigan/OSU don't play each other? They always play, right?

Always - one of the biggest and oldest rivalries in all of college football (which Michigan leads 57-39-6 ;-D )
