Why are people drafting right now? I'm confused why so many FF sites have drafts going on. Maybe this is a rook question, but I dont see the point in holding a draft for a season that's 9 months away and a real draft hasnt taken place yet.

Well my guess is they just like that, theres all different types of crazy league formats and maybe they like this one? I know the cafe's "You Don't Know Jack League" Drafts around January...

I know that some leagues draft late this season and get a few games in to determine draft order for next year....but it's different for every league really....

Maybe for fun? I wouldnt mind joining a league drafting for next year just for the fun of it...no money on the line though.
