Do some of these guys even watch the games? One guy has Florida at 1 and OSU at 2; another guy has Boise at 2, somebody with Notre Dame ahead of USC?

I'm confused. :-[

I don't see OSU number 2 on that link. :-?

I did here somebody had that, but maybe it was thrown out. One of those guys had LSU 11 another had UF 5 behind OSU, UM, WISKY, LOU

The reason some of the people have Florida so high or low is because they want to have more of an influence- by putting them 1st, that pulls more weight for them to get into the nat'l champ game, since OSU will easily get in anyway. Putting them like 5th hurts their chances, helping Michigan. Putting LSU down also helps Michigan, because it hurts Florida's strength of schedule.

I am sure these ballots were thrown out though.

Actually no ballots were thrown out in the report I saw. (It was on TV so I conveniently can't quote my source :-b ) But what was said basically was that if the UM/UF gap would have been closer in the BCS/Harris Poll then they would have looked into some of these votes but since FL was ahead of UM by as much as they were the powers that be decided to leave all ballots in.

Ok...this is a problem if there is anybody that didn't put UM or Florida either 2 or 3 though...this could be a problem if it keeps up.
