Congrats Gablefan!! I had sections with both of my kids and it really wasn't bad at all! Your wife will be just fine by the time the baby comes home! It's hard to believe how uncomfortable it can be at times though to have your abdomen cut open. It's just the act of sitting up and laying down that is hard. Be a hand or arm she can lean on when she is doing either of these things because you don't realize how much you use your stomach muscles just for something simple like that! It really isn't as bad as it sounds though. I was up and about very quickly. Even more so with the second. She looks just beautiful! You will love parenthood!
