I'm pretty sure Knapp just wanted to hear Chrisy actually say what we all believe he's thinking... and I'm pretty sure Chrisy wasn't just trying to point out that one side is more light hearted than the other as you suggested earlier. I for one couldn't care less if he thinks they're better than we are.

Yea I definitely took some crap for the "extra" s on the bright side....I researched it thoroughly and could not find any conclusive evidence that HBO does not spell it with 2 s's though.

believe me, I'm not implying anything negative about the football cafe's "refinedness". I just don't want people reacting to my assumed bias one way or the other. That's hard around here, in any of the cafes. And yes I'm trying to learn more about how and why things are so different in these places without ruffling feathers. after reading some general talk forum posts and the seeing (i believe) art vandelay's post, it's hit me like brick so I thought I'd bring it up with such a black and white example.

I just don't get what you're getting at with this "difference" conversation, though. Are you saying that there are differences between the two Cafes that go above and beyond what one would normally expect in any two disparate groups? If so, I'm not seeing it, and I certainly don't see it as anything more than a mere coincidence.

I'm not angered or upset by this conversation, I just really, truly don't see a difference between the two other than that normal, everyday kind of difference you're always going to see between any two random groups.
