okay, in trying to pick my last defense to have and to hold for the rest of the season for the playoffs that begin for most of us, i ran some numbers on free agent defenses that should be available in most leagues. many leagues lock rosters as well (mine does), so no dumping each week like many of us do... anyway thought i'd share this, in case anyone is in a similar predicament...

some notes -

cle / tb / buf / oak are the so-called "worst of the worst." cle may start a rookie qb this week. they are almost 25 yards per game allowed more than the next nearest. if your team plays these opponents at all, that could be huge (hou plays two of the four).

my sleeper? green bay. though det is showing signs of life, min in on life support, and we are prepping for the ciatrick faison show... good matchups there...
