The kid is raw but may be something special down the road. I'm curious how the Cafe values the kid as I'm thinking of dropping Grossman for him.
Thanks in advance!
Who?
Yo, Met... thanks for the sig! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While watching the Vikings-Bears game when he came in, I noticed the announcers falling all over him, saying the Vikings invested a second round pick in him and he has the best athleticism at QB on the team (But that is like saying he is the most-talented Baldwin).
I think he is worth a flyer in a dynasty league, especially if you are thin at QB. I know Bollinger surely isn't the long-term answer.
I doubt he sees the field much this year, only if Brooks' injury in more serious than anticipated.
he's got some developing to do, but he's got a lot of talent. still, i wouldnt pick him up right now. grossman probably has more long term value than him anyway. maybe pick him up when green retires.
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion
I think Jackson will be a good pick-up at some point, the question is should you pick him up now. There's a good chance he will be a starter next year, Brad Johnson's not getting any younger and isn't exactly a ball of fire this year, and Bollinger is a career backup.
The problem is even if he starts next year it's not likely he'll be that productive. He's still young and his supporting cast just isn't that good.
At this point I think Rex is still a better hold even in view of his recent mishaps.
He isn't a bad pickup, but dont drop grossman for him- if u can drop someone else, go ahead and take the chance, however grossman is just going through a rough patch now- dont give up on him, you will be sorry later in a year or two if u do.
