Chicago gets 2 more sacks for week 13?

Postby Mason » Thu Dec 07, 2006 9:04 am

Just woke up this morning and checked my league and I went from 2nd seed to 3rd because Chicago was awarded 2 more sacks (for a total of 5) in my Yahoo plus league. I checked NFL.com and it still only says 3.

Is this correct?

I don't have any official documentation, but I just checked after I read your post and I picked up 4 pts. from the Chicago D last week since the last time I checked in my ESPN league. At 2 pts. per sack, it appears they did get awarded for 2 more.

yeah the NFL changed it to 5 sacks. player game logs are the only thing that gets updated in these cases (not box scores, etc)

Tank Johnson is listed with 2 sacks in week 13 on his NFL.com game log.

Adewale Ogunleye is listed with 2 sacks in week 13 on his NFL.com game log.

The 5th sack of the game was credited to Alex Brown, it is displayed on his NFL.com game log.

Before those 2 sacks I missed the playoffs by less than 2 points in the week 13 game. This just put me over the top. 3 leagues - made the playoffs in all 3 this year. That's a first for me.
