Due to whatever circumstances chances of you winning it look slim...

I am 10-2-1 and in second in overall points in the league there are 4 teams tied in second at 8-5 So i have pretty much been in the playoffs for a few weeks now. Then McNabb goes down, Chester and Ronnie Brown are down, My #1 receiver Steve Smtih loses his quarterback, (other receivers are S. Moss, Chambers, Cotchery, D. Henderson) And Larry has to play Baltimore and then San Diego. Anyone else experiencing this kind of stuff

I know how you feel. With McNabbn out and Colston looking shaky... I'm worried. I'm 10-3 with a dominance in the league, should have an easy path, yet I could lose my first playoff game this week...

If I do... I'll lose the league.

Sucks when you dominate the entire season and come playoff time, the guy in last place who you have to play, has one of those "Sucky players break out" weeks, where guys who you would have riding your bench he has starting and busting out 2 or 3td games out of nowhere only to be beatin because of this one flake week.....it happens, not a lot you can do.

In a 14 team league, I'm 2nd in points and missed the playoffs.

Went into Mon. night up 5+ points, and had LJ and JPeppers, he had SSmith.

Smith ended up with 9 pts, JPeppers ended up w/ only2 pts. (and let Garcia out of his bear hug, which would've won it for me), of course LJ Crap ended up w/goosegg---and my season is over over a 2 pt. loss to a vastly inferior opponent who's scrubs (CHouston, Cutler) outperformed my didn't show up lineup (Hass/Boldin/RWilliams..) The irony is that my matchups next 3 weeks are fantastic, I think I'd have won the league had I not been blindsided last week.

I read a stat that says something like 50% of the top seeds lose their first round game in 10 team or larger leagues.

It's all a crapshoot once the playoffs start. Put your best players out there and hope for the best.
