XBox 360, Do they work?

I have had my 360 for about a month and had not had any issues, but I have it in an open compartment with ALOT of breathing air. I have also been a firm believer (since the PS2 years) that you have to have your console flat opposed to its side.

Three of my friends have had issued with the PS2 and 360 and they all have in common the fact that they have the consoles standing up. I have never had any problems with any of the consoles I have owned thus far.

Mine is flat as well, but it still has occasional problems.
