Just finished my Last law school exam for my first year. Haven't seen the light of day in about a month. It will be nice to do nothing for a month.

congrats! The first year is the hardest by far. From here on out the only reason it is hard is because you will probably be working too.

Man, I am glad I don't have law finals anymore. The crazy thing is, you think it is terrible when you do them, and then you take the Bar Exam and find out finals were cake... I always studied at Panera for the bar. I can't even go in there anymore. Just the smell of it makes be want to heave.

But then, once you take the Bar, it is smooooooth sailing. Your quality of life improves drastically, and you even have time for (get this!) Hobbies!

It was wierd at first, after 3+ years with no free time, my wife and I didn't really remember what we used to do for fun. We kind of had to find new hobbies.

But now, life is good, and you are well on your way. Relax a bit this summer, and just think, only 1 down, two to go!
