Trung Candidate? He seemed pretty productive in back up roles. Couldn't handle being the starter but there are a bunch of RBs in the league that fit that bill. Did he just give up on getting an NFL gig?

It was a sadly blunderous draft by the Rams that year. I'm thinking that the drafters from St. Louis were still hungover from the Superbowl win and decided to wing it.

Yeah I remember him in Washington.

That's insane that he was drafted by the Rams with Faulk in his prime. He must have hated that.

So I guess he just retired? It's only been 6 years. That wikipedia didn't mention anything about the CFL...

Canidate is actually an alumni of my high school that I attend right now. I actually heard rumors from some of my friends who are in the football program, he is trying to make a comeback into the NFL. I am not sure where though, I will try and find out.

Wow, a Trung Canidate thread at the FFC? It can't be? Speaking of what ever happened to...what the heck ever happened to James Stewart, formerly of Jaguars and Lions fame? I swear the guy fell off of the face of the planet. One minute the guy is a top-20 back in 2002, posting a 1,000 yard season. Gets hurt the next season and we never see him again. What gives?

Wikipedia says...

He was injured and did not play in 2003, and never played again due to injuries.

I actually had a collection of 1000 yard rushers/receivers that fell off the earth, but I don't know where it went :-?

If I remember correctly, Trung was quite the speedster.
