No, but I did hear someone mention something about a trade deadline.

A trade deadline? Please explain!

once you're out of the running you shouldn't be allowed to make any roster moves PERIOD

so the idea of bettering teams or even value is absurd, one team is out and team is moving on. how does the team that's out get better?

wat about your trade d . . . .

If you're going to be out of title contention, what would be the point of this trade for you? You said he needs a TE and that's basically why you're considering this trade even though you don't really need the RB, which seems like collusion to me.

I think he will be playing for 3rd place.

Sorry if I didn't mention this before, but 3rd place still has a $$ cash payout. Thats why it still matters to me. This guy has been extremely lucky in a sense that none of his starters ever got injured but hes got 2 backups on IR still on his bench.

We are allowed 1 transaction after the playoffs and since this is the game I am referring to would be the last o f the year, what would be the point of balancing the trade out?

This does create a slippery slope in terms of trade deadlines (no we've never had one) and for that reason, I probably won't do it. Just because there is money involved doesn't mean you need to "bend" the rules in order to win.

Just thought I would bring it up to you guys to see your reactions. I guess maybe I'll request uh...can't remember what its called...ah a TRADE DEADLINE ;P next year

You would have been better served by posting both your teams and the trade proposal. I would have said good trade for both since you are both filling needs. But, once you start adding that other stuff about being friends, and not caring if you lose you are making it look like collusion...when it really isn't.

Lets see if I have the situation right.

He is the recognized stronger team. He gives you R Bush.

You are the recognized weaker team. You give him McMichael.

If collusion were to take place this trade would have to favor the stronger team to make sense. But, this trade favors the weaker team. Bush is a higher value than McMichael.

I would have no problem accepting this trade as a commish.

Make the trade, this isn't collusion.

Peace
