How many remotes have you broke this year?

Postby awwchrist » Wed Oct 23, 2002 5:20 pm

Seems like every owner is suffering from an unproductive star this year. I can't remember a season where there is such disappointment over so many players. And these are players that haven't even delt with injury!

RB
Anthony Thomas
Edgerrin James
Marshall Faulk (to some extent...his team is on his back now)
Shaun Alexander
Corey Dillon

WR
Darrell Jackson
Jimmy Smith
Chris Chambers
Rod Smith
Isaac Bruce
Randy Moss
Ed Mccaffrey
Tim Brown
Laveraneus Coles

QB
Daunte Culpepper
Kurt Warner (pre-injury)

What's an owner to do? This season is soooo frustrating (definitely not boring however).

Mind if I add Johnnie Morton to that list? Ok, so he couldn't have been considered a star, but didn't we all expect him to have a slightly bigger role in KC's offense? :-o

And you're right - the season is anything but boring!

I walk across the street to my friends house, he has the NFL gameday package.

He will NOT release control of the remote until the day is over :)

We have a punching bag (small one) which we beat the crap out of at certain times during the day.

FFL ROCKS ! what will we do during the off season ????

Boston is definitely a frustration..but he's had some foot issues this season and that's some reason for his problems. I was trying to omit those types of players. :-)

Sounds like my whole team.

QB's- Kordell, Dilfer, McNair
RB's- Holmes, Martin, George, Staley, White
WR's- Booker, Mason, Hines Ward, Johnnie Morton
TE's- Becht, Dilger

Kordell has been benched after being in the running for NFL MVP last year, Dilfer is just mediocre, and McNair, after having a great ending to the season last year, is suckin.

Holmes is keeping me alive, Martin and George have been unproductive.
Mason started out hot and then got injured and Morton has been doin nothing.

Neither one of my tight ends is doin squat.

It definitely has been a strange year. It has been a nightmare to me.
