Westbrook gets to 1000

I just wanted to send out some cheers for Westbrook getting his 1st 1000 yard season. Long deserved, its about time the Birds do some running.

Doesn't seem to get much respect around here, despite the total yards, receptions, and TDs. Plus of course there are all those he's going to be shut down any minute posts.

In my league (counting receptions) he's 4th in RB scoring. He was 12th in 2005 despite being shut down the last 4 games, and 8th in 2004. In my no receptions league he's still #5 RB.

Not bad at all IMO. ;-D

I had no idea that this was his first 1,000 yard season. Interesting anomaly there. Almost as interesting as finding out that Fred Taylor's never been to the Pro Bowl.

I hadn't heard anything either, I had just half-assumed he was being his usual self being injuried, not getting touches, ect...I don't have him on any teams...
