You guys should re-christen this The Falcons' Awful Run Defense--and That Friggin' Line Judge--Killed Steve Smith's Opportunities and My Fantasy Team. The Panthers called about a dozen or so designed pass plays, compared to forty-plus runs. Think they saw a weakness in the game film?

Don't get me started again. Your TEAM lost the game, not Steve Smith by himself. If the rest of your TEAM picked up the slack Smith's bad game wouldn't have mattered. I lost today to a team that got -0.5 points from Smith. You know why? The rest of his TEAM played well and his TEAM outscored my TEAM.

^^ Reason I focus on Steve Smith is cause he gave me ZERO points and shouldn't have.

I don't fault Brees for a sub-par game because he gave me SOME points.

Even if Smith gave me a couple points, I wouldn't point the finger at him.

Doesn't matter. I lost last week in the semis by 0.14 points. My team lost the game because they didn't score more points than the other team. If my QB had 4 more yards I win. If my RB's, WR's, or TE had 2 more yards or 1 more reception (0.5 PPR) I win. If my kicker had another FG or 2 more XP's I win. If my D held their opponent to 3 less points, had 2 more sacks or 1 more turnover I win.

And today I lost a SB game to a team who had Smith give him -0.5 points. You know why? The rest of his team picked up the slack and scored more points than my team.

Smith scoring 0 sucks but he didn't lose you the game by himself. Your team lost because it didn't score more points than your opponent.

Not as bad as getting thrown out of the game by touching a ref.

I just hope all these angry Smith owners continue to hate him into the off-season so I can attempt to acquire him in some of my leagues.
