Kevin Jones's keeper value?

Not sure what the official word is but I'd say 10-12 months minumum. I'd be really surprised if he suited up for the start of next season. This one looks pretty bad. I'd say not worth keeping this year, especially with his timetable up in the air.

He only really has value if you keep quite a few players. I think he will be out most of next season if not all of it.

I know he had good fantasy stats, but from a Detroit perspective, he was not the guy they wanted. They were looking to phase him out of the offense anyway, but just didn't have anyone else that panned out so they were kind of stuck with him.

I would say this gives them an excuse to get someone in the offseason - of course...Millen...Lions...Martz...who knows what will happen.

I think he could have some nice value in the second half of next year. He should start off slow though.

Depends how many you get to keep, if its a high #, hold onto him...prolly should go in the keeper and waiver question section though

I plan on not keeping him and seeing if I can land him in the draft somewhere in the late rounds. ;-D

As far as whether or not to keep KJ ther are two factors to consider. One is that his Lisfranc fracture is severe. I read one report that this injury is rated in severity from 1-3, with 3 being worst. They said KJ's was a 5. Doesn't sound good, especially when you consider that teammate Lehman missed over a year with his Lisfranc injury.

On the other hand, KJ's was diagnosed and treated immediately, whereas Lehman's wasn't diagnosed right away causing further damage. Also KJ has always been a fast healer, if the foot is good to go by preseason he won't baby it.

Hope that helps.
