I've heard the Turner rumors, but not MJD. I kinda doubt Jax would trade him at this point.
It'll probably be a draft pick splitting carries with Jacobs, who will probably have a more prominent role in addition to being the short yardage & goal line back.
Who do you think is going to be Tiki's replacement next year?
So far i've heard rumors of Maurice Jones Drew and Michael Turner.
I'd love to get him but do you really think that Jax will trade MJD? There's no way they trade him after the season he had & with F.Taylor being 31 next year (not to mention his injury history).
I'd love to get Turner, just don't know if they can pull it off. Noone has mentioned Jacobs. Not sure if he can be a fulltime feature back though. It's going to be very interesting to see who they get. Man we're going to miss Tiki.
IMHO, Jacobs can carry most of the load if they just get a speedy back to come in on 3rd downs and give him breathers every once in a while. Jacobs has looked like an excellent running back this year.

Tiki will be missed but you have to respect his decision.
They are just going to go with Brandon Jacobs. He can get the job done. He just needs a second back to give him a breather every now and then.
Rumor had it they were going to try and trade shockey for a high pick. If they did that my bet would be on Peterson than. I doubt that rumor will carry weight to it.
Jerry Reese, the Giants new GM, actually mentioned Turner as a replacement possibility. This adds some fuel to the fire because prior to this it was nothing but a rumor from NFL network.
