I JUST WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU

Postby elimanning » Wed Dec 27, 2006 11:52 am

Thanks to this forum, you helped me along with the draft before the season started, and helped me figure out who to start/bench during those unpredictable first couple weeks.

And thanks to you, I've won my first ever fantasy football season. I'm now $175 richer and I want to express my gratitude to all of you.

(also, I hope I helped a couple of you out as well.)

Thanks again

-Eli

Good job. I would've been SOL without the help of the Cafe; if it wasn't for this site I would still be drafting guys like DB in the 5th round, not picking LT with my #1 and #2 overall picks etc. :-o

It is very hard to enjoy something new if you start out unsuccessful. Hopefully I have convinced my fellow noobs to continue playing even after having crappy first seasons.

I would also like to give my thanks to the Cafe and its broad network for helping me to my second straight championship season. I feel like I'm getting better at making the decisions myself, but its always good to have other opinions. They have stopped me from making stupid moves on a few occasions this year.

I also hope I was able to help others. Each year I feel a little bit more qualified to answer other people's questions, when it comes to ff.

I've been around the fantasy football block quite a bit, so "help" isn't really what I come here for, although I certainly accept it with gratitude when I get it.

The main reason I come here is to pass the time between weekends. There is so much I want to talk about and it is so difficult to wait for responses from the few other guys in my league. And you can forget about my wife striking up a conversation about the nuances of the Rams offense. :-b

So even though I didn't win any jack this year, my thanks to the cafe for putting up with my rants, striking up good debate and conversation, and just plain ol' being some of the nicest people you can find on a forum.

I'm just as happy as the noobs to find this place. Can't wait for the 2007 season!
