Since Giants Hold All Wildcard Tiebreaker...

If they win Saturday night, that could drastically change the way the other teams in the hunt (STL, GB...) approach their games on Sunday, couldn't it?

N.Y. Giants can clinch a playoff berth with:

- A win and a strength-of-victory tiebreaker over Green Bay
- A win and a Green Bay loss or tie
- A tie and a Green Bay loss or tie and a St. Louis loss or tie and - an Atlanta loss or tie and a Carolina loss or tie
- A Green Bay loss and a St. Louis loss and an Atlanta loss and a Carolina loss
A win next week and all is forgotten.

For playoff scenarios:

I thought it would be more efficient just to create one thread where all the playoff scenarios could be discussed and how that would affect team play.

The only real tiebreaker the Giants have problems with is strength-of-victory with Green Bay. So if the Giants win their game by X amount of points less than Green Bay wins their game it's possible for the Giants and Green Bay to both win and Green Bay to make it over them. That would be a long shot because somebody told me Green Bay would need to hope the Giants win by 1 point then they would have to win by like 21 or something crazy.

I don't think it has anything to do with the amount of points.. Basically what needs to happen is if the Giants win and Green Bay wins, Green Bay needs several other teams to win so that Green Bay's opponents' win-loss ratio is higher than that of the Giants'.

I hope they win, because my understanding is if the Eagles also win, they meet at the Linc in the first round. I love the Giants coming here. We will crush them even worse than the last time.

Giants loss this weekend... 1-6 in their last 7. They suck.
