Somewhat related but does this mean that the Jets go to New England now?? If so, why was I rooting for the Niners??

Yep, Jets will be going to New England. The 6th seed is looking good... :-D

Let me add a laugh at the Broncos for losing to the 49er's, ending their playoff hopes in the process...I hate Shanahan and the rest of them so much. :-b

No love lost between two old AFL teams like the Chiefs and Broncos and believe me when I tell you, Broncos fans hate (such a harsh, evil word, but so applicable when speaking about the Chiefs....) the Chiefs just as much. :-b ;-7

My early predication, now that the Chief-Hate-Glasses are off, is the Chiefs won't get past Indy in Indy.

On a side note - I think it's a good thing the Broncos didn't make the playoffs. To borrow from a discussion in the Denver Broncos forum, making the playoffs would have added to the maturing of the rookies (Cutler, Scheffler, Marshall, M. Bell) and given them motivation for next year. However, if they had to face the Colts, I think they would have gotten slaughtered.

Next year will be different for the Broncos since Cutler will be the starter from the word GO.

Good luck to the Chiefs in the playoffs.....

Kind of surprised here, but wow, the team we slaughtered gets in. Love to see LJ and Tamba get in, but I don't think they will last. Jets fans have to be happy, now they keep the 5th seed, though some may say they'd rather play in the RCA then in Foxboro right now :-o

Honestly, I think Kansas City is a better equipped team to beat Indy than New York is. Both teams are about the same: average defenses and decent passing games, but Kansas City has one of the best running backs in the league, whereas the Jets are a bit shakier in that department. If LJ can pound the rock for them, they could win that game. I'm not saying they will, I'm just saying that it isn't as farfetched as it seems.
