Took the plunge and bought a big TV

The downside is I've missed most of football season already.

The upside is that I saved over $1,000 off of what it was priced when the season started in September.

You're gonna love it - I bought a 52" at the start of the football season - anyway, ya still have a few college bowls and all the NFL playoffs - and even crappy movies are great to watch!!!

Between Christmas and the SuperBowl is when electronic stores sell the most TVs, which is probably why there are so many sales during Janurary.

I'm still getting by on my 25" clunker. It's OK for now, but one of these days I'm going to get a big TV.

Everybody seems to be getting these new, HUGE, TVs. We were actually in the market for a DLP. Not that big though. I think what drew us to the DLP option was that it wasn't very deep, front to back, the picture was still awesome, and it will last a longer time than the plasmas.

I like to take my son's xbox and hook it up to the 72 inch and play nascar with the setting were it looks like I am the driver. Its awesome
