Tied in SB; What kind of tiebreakers does your league have?

Postby JM80 » Mon Jan 01, 2007 2:44 am

Well my team tied in the SB. The next tiebreaker was the bench and we tied there as well.

So, I was just wondering what kind of tiebreaker's everyone else's league has after that.

I believe I'm going to become the runner-up in the league b/c the next tiebreaker is highest point total in the regular season.

OH well only if R. Dayne would've played. Dayne stinks!!!!!!!!

I'll just always remember it as a tie. ;-D

Our #1 tie breaker in playoff games is overall points scored. After all fantasy football is all about the points scored.

This year you have to have a split pot... Next year you must define tie breakers better in whatever matter you choose...

Our team is a dynasty with salary cap so there are often teams that don't carry full benches or have prospects on their benches. With that in mind here are our tiebreakers for playoff games. Games that end in ties in the regular season are counted as ties.

Ties of playoff games:

1. Total yardage of all starting offensive players

2. Total yardage of all TD scores

3. Total points of all bench players

4. Home team advances

Split the pot, and smack each other across the face for making the tiebreaker based on bench players.

Agreed. If this were a PO game rather than the SB my answer would be Decimal Scoring (the second best option at this point).
