old family guy was great. when they came back from cancellation it was not funny. i think south park is great. both of these shows are very low brow, but south park usually has a message or an idea. family guy is pretty meandering and pointless. nothing will ever top the simpsons in their hey day. i like futurama better than both fg and sp. but if i had to chooose one, i watch more fg than sp. especially the first two seasons.

A lot of people seem to enjoy the earlier years of Family Guy but after watching some of the newer ones, I laugh more than I did for the older ones. It just seems like the newer ones have more jokes.
