Where did you look? You must not have looked very hard. A simple google search will give you the answer. You could also check Websters:

Main Entry: pat·zer
Pronunciation: 'pät-s&r, 'pat-
Variant(s): also pot·zer /'pät-/
Function: noun
Etymology: probably from German Patzer bungler, from patzen to blunder
: an inept chess player

I used to think I wasn't a potzer until I went to a chess club a couple times. That damn clock adds a whole new level of pressure. My desire to compete with those guys is nowhere near enough to make the effort required. (Oh, as most of you know, I have no problem with long posts either)

New Years resolution.

Get my wife pregnant (time to step up to the plate)

Eat slower and have smaller portions. The slower you eat, the more time your body has to feel full. I'm at 230, and would love to be at 215 or 210. I have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much muscle to get below that. ;-) :-b

1) Less fantasy teams this year - only 4 of each sport (MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL)
2) Healthier eating and lose weight (and a little exercise wouldn't hurt either!)
3) More reading - including the books "Healthy Aging", "Inspiration", and "The Case For Christ"
4) Fix up the house (just bought it last year)
5) Write a non-fiction book I've been working on casually for about 6 years - an unsolved murder from 1933 - I have hundreds of pages of research and have contacted s few descendants of those originally involved (some as far away as Scotland) - I just need to do a little more research this year and put it all together and send it to a publisher (I even pitched it to one of the national TV networks and they showed preliminary interest). I already have enough evidence to identify who I believe is the suspect.
6) Buy a dog - I'm without a dog for the first time in 30 years - really want to get another Alaskan Malamute!
