Anyone know the contract status of Dunn and/or Dillon?

I held onto Maroney and Norwood with high hopes that one of them will dethrone the aging starting RB for their team. I've been looking around trying to find out the contract status of Corey Dillon and Warrick Dunn, but have come up empty. Anybody know?

I believe Warrick Dunn has a year left. If memory serves they just recently signed him for another year.

Dillon is due a big pay hike now. I think they'll move on without him and Maroney will take over in New England next year.

I think Dunn will split with Norwood next year (the same way Marshall Faulk and Steven Jackson did last season (in 2005)). Then in 2008 Norwood will take over.

I have Maroney and Michael Turner in one league, Norwood in another.

Those 3, plus Brandon Jacobs, are my studs of the future.

I thought I heard that Dunn was due an 8 million roster bonus and had a good chance of getting released.

If Dunn wants to stay he will restructure and it will be RBBC next year.

I also think Dillon will stay with NE and it will be a 60/40 split with Maroney getting the bulk of the carries.

I saw Dillon in an interview and he loves playing there so I think he restructures and stays.

It seems like there are going to be more RBBC next year but that is for another thread.

Dunn is a class act, and will probably stay on at a cheaper salary if asked, Dillon could do the same, or may feel like testing the waters again, who knows. In either situation, I'd start selling Dillon and Dunn in keeper/dynasty leagues.
