Lions fans have already staged protests. You've got guys with bags on their heads at the stadium, "Fire Millen" chants at every home game, and the "Millen Man March" last year. I even remember Ford Field security chasing and tackling a guy on live TV because he had a "Fire Millen" sign. Even tried to flood a Steelers @ Lions home game with Terrible Towels. Not sure how well that one went, and the Steelers fans do travel well, but I'm pretty sure the end result wouldn't have made most NFL owners smile.
Unfortunately for Detroit fans, the Ford family seem pretty detached from local opinion. I really think that they don't care at all what their fans think (and that goes for a couple other NFL owners too).
Anyways, Millen staying on is great news for Chicago's chances at staying on top of the NFCN for years to come.
