I'd be afraid to read the bad news in that paper...

maybe now your life is like that show on TV a few years ago where the guy gets the next days paper and he has to go prevent all the bad things from happening before the day is over

I did until thoughts of bad luck were mentioned. I guess, in hindsight, I should have thrown the newspaper away as soon as I saw the dead cat on it.
