Many positive thoughts and prayers for you, your community, and the families involved. This is tragic and so frightening.

I have two small girls (8 and 4) and kissed and hugged them just a wee bit tighter tonight.

Yeah, it sure makes you appreciate all that you have. Stories like this, although tragic, do help to put things into perspective for the rest of the world.

Wow, it's bad enough when you hear about these things on the news but I can only imagine what it's like when it happens at your own school. Absolutely terrible.

Sad to hear - one of the reasons I got out of the big city before my 2 boys started high school - just too many problems with gangs and violence and related problems at big city shcools.
