Seriously though, I live right by Pittsburgh, and I feel like I'm in the South

And here I was, thinking that I had seen everything by living in Michigan

It was 82 today here in Florida...

We had a similar storm here in Maine back in '98.

I was in Florida for the start of that storm and when we returned to Montreal we were one of the last cars they let through before they closed I-87 through the Adirondacks. I was travelling with my girlfriend and her family and when we got back I had to go and break out my car - I literally was POUNDING on the windshield with a steel shovel to break the inch-thick coating of ice... Needless to say I was none too impressed with my parents for leaving my car sitting there the whole time without at least starting it up a couple of times and letting the heat keep the ice from building up to quite that proportion...

That's crazy how some of the ice formed around individual pieces of grass!

Yeah, that is pretty cool. We get ice storms about once a year, but nothing this serious usually. They're calling it a 100 Year Storm. But anyway I've seen trees where each twig is surrounded by 1/8th inch of ice, and it's pretty cool. Neat, neat stuff. Too bad it's so destructive when it's this thick.
