What are the differences between the Silver and Gold memberships? Can you download demos with the Silver? How much is the Gold membership (monthly fee)??

silver doesn't get you online gameplay with other users.

You can find gold membership for about 50 bucks / year. 40 if you catch a deal/store coupon.
