I never thought of it this way....so what you're saying is you think Romo did it on purpose so he could be the hero and run it in??
If Marteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen Gramatica had simply fallen in the path of Babineaux (or done something instead of looking around, panicked), Romo could have scored IMO. Or at least gotten the first down.
So enraged Cowboys fans should go hunt down Gramatica, lol.

Well if you'd look at the film, you'd see Gramatica do his best to push down Babineaux...not looking around panicked. What more can you ask for a 5 foot tall kicker?

Gramatica got a hand on Babineaux, that's it. At the least, I would expect the kicker to fall down in the guy's path if the hold is botched. Dive, trip, even plain old sit down in the guy's path.
I will concede that he didn't have much time to think, though, but I like ragging on any Gramatica. They're just a funny bunch.
I wouldn't say it was a "good chance," but a decent chance nonetheless.
I think moreso with football than other sports, once the sotry line is written, that's how it is, facts be damned.
I think romo caused some problems this year, but that's a functipon of being new to the role, and probably having accolades heaped on him so quick.
But to think he "lost the game," is kind of stupid too because seahawks would have had a minute to tie it up. Also, if the other players didn't screw up, this wouldn't be an issue.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.
I still think its Gramatica's fault. If he could have hit Babinoux (sp) a little bit harder or put more umph into that contact, Romo would have gotten the first down, if even not the TD
