Putting this on Gramatica is plain silly. In the vid he clearly made an effort to block Babineuax, but do you really expect a small kicker to be able to block a somewhat large DB running at full speed? He forced Babineaux to take a wider path to Romo, and if Romo had gotten in we'd be saying how it was good on Gramatica's part that he had the presence of mind to try to block Babineuax and at least get in the way a little.

You have to applaud Babineaux's effort. He was sprinting towards Romo while Romo appeared to briskly jogging towards the goal. It seems Romo could have turned on the jets a bit more or taken a wider angle towards the goal.

Of course we are all experts here analyzing the play frame by frame while in the heat of the moment Romo had a fraction of a second to make a decision.

ok... 1st two years of being a back up I am willing to bet he didn't get crap for reps. Look at all the QB's ahead of him through those years. Romo was hanging on as a back up by a thread... he maybe has had 1- 2 years of solid QB training. Look for Romo to correct small problems that hurt him this year. Holding the ball funny causing fumbles, over throwing, and timing. The O-lined played the entire year.. they will only get better. Dallas will hopefully come back firing next year.
