The other keys to finishing on time in slow drafts are to get the dates set early, so that anyone who is going on vacation during the draft can make other arrangements in making their picks during their absence. Also, in drafts starting late or having 20+ rounds, that you set a date after which, pick time will accelerate from 24 hours to only 12 hours.... or better yet, doing the last 5 or so rounds via a live chat room.

Solid planning can avoid most problems in these slow drafts....
