Very nice knapplc...
Personally I find it hard to say "good" and "horror movie" together in the same sentence... My wife loves them though, so I get stuck sitting through them much more often than I'd like...

The movie is scary, man.
Nice. I'll have to check it out on Netflix. A movie that I recently caught a glimpse of was the original Wicker Man. Not really a particuarly scary flick by normal standards, but very frightening. I haven't seen the re-do with Cage, but I'm sure it's far less entertaining.
Really? I saw Session 9 on IFC about a year and a half ago and thought it was pretty boring. No thrill, nothing creepy, not even the cheesy scare part with the unexpected loud noise. Part of it had to do with Caruso. He's just as lame an actor as there is. Jacobs Ladder was fantastic, but again, I'm not sure it qualifies as horror.

And I still don't think there is. When something is made with the sole purpose of either scaring you or shocking you, can it really be of high quality? I guess, if that's what you're looking for, but then it really does not have much to do with the film does it? Has much more to do with the viewer.
