Youngstown State (9/1) Akron (9/8) at Washington (9/15) Northwestern (9/22) at Minnesota (9/29) at Purdue (10/6) Kent State (10/13) Michigan State (10/20) at Penn State (10/27) Wisconsin (11/3) Illinois (11/10) at Michigan (11/17)
Nice non conference schedule. They've got to be ranked high if nothing else cause of that.
I only see 3 games (at Penn State, Wisconsin, at Michigan) that would be considered "tough" games. They should easily march their way to another BCS berth.
Thank you for not putting Notre Dame up there. All their fans seem to be so excited that this Jimmy Clawsen guy is coming, apparently hes like the next LeBron of the NFL or something...

I beg to differ.
Oregon will be good next year. Probably another losing season for my Beavs, insanely tough conference road games and a new starting QB.

Yup, Mich and OSU are off the schedule for '07 and '08!
2007 OUTLOOK Iowa will open its 2007 season vs. Northern Illinois at Soldier Field on Sept. 1. Six of the Hawkeyes’ 12 opponents played in bowl games in 2006 (Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, Purdue and Minnesota). Iowa will play six home games in Kinnick Stadium (Syracuse, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan State, Minnesota and Western Michigan). The Hawkeyes will have a new Big Ten slate, as Michigan and Ohio State come off their schedule the next two seasons.

Considering there are people who believe Brantley and/or Mallett are better and it is safe to say he is not the Lebron of football. He plays on a loaded team against weak competition and has two other top 100 players on offense with him. He is good and definitely a 5 star and top 5-10 player, but he is not a "ten year prospect" like some have said.
Oh and he is only 6'1.5 and he is 19 years old and still in highschool. He will be a 20 year old freshman.

That's a factor if he gets drafted in the NFL, but not for the college game. Unless you're insinuating that he's dumb because he's 19 and in high school. I'm down with that.

I dont beg to differ...Cal and USC are superior to the rest of the Pac-10 when they are rollin...my bears offense will be sick...defense is taking a hit, but they were never a defensive juggernaut anyway...
