CBS Keeper Leagues

Postby Big Pimpin » Thu Jan 11, 2007 6:56 pm

Anyone know how these work? My money league has moved to a keeper format this year (sort of stupid IMO, we only keep one guy, but I digress) and I'm wondering how things are set up. We were told that we didn't have to keep someone and would get a draft pick to make up for that. My main question is where will my draft pick be?

If you're wondering why, I went WR/WR so my best keepers are CJ, Fitz, KJones, AGreen, McNabb, or Brees. I also finished second which gives me 11th pick in the first round. If I keep someone (probably a WR or KJ) and everyone else picks before me, I'll be left with absolute crap at RB.

If I get to pick before the first round, I'll be able to choose from at least a few of the following: Portis, SJax (not likely but you never know), Westy, MJD, SA, Moroney, Washington, Bush, RBrown, Gore, Williams, Benson, etc. People can't keep more than one so some of these guys are going to be available...

Anyone know? Thanks. ;-D

I don't know about CBS for sure, but most sites do it where they just tack on a token pick at the end of the draft. ;-D

I don't know how any of the websites do it. :-/

But I'm in one keeper league where we keep 3 players. If you decide to keep less than 3 players you get to pick before the regular draft starts. This way once the regular draft starts everyone has 3 players. ;-D

This is also how my keeper leagues do it. Also not sure about websites rules. I believe the standard is to get picks until everyone has the same number then begin.

I sure as heck hope that's how it works out. Otherwise I could be in serious trouble. :-o
