As many of you know I've transplanted myself from my home in Eugene OR. to my hometown of Stockton CA. to take care of my dad when my mom passed. I've been here since the end of May and this will be my first trip home and sort of a vacation for me. We've hired a caretaker to stay here with my dad and my brother and sister in law will stop by in the evenings. I've been feeling VERY homesick and I miss my girl big time, this is just what the doctor ordered, two weeks at home with her. We're planning on heading over to the coast for a couple days while I'm there for my birthday which is on the 21st.

I'll be leaving next Thursday morning and I wont have much computer access, I'm sure you guys will get by. ;-D

Have a good trip, Met. Don't worry, I'm sure a bunch of us will band together to make sure the wacky comments don't slide here in GT while you're away.

Hey Met, I think you know how highly a lot of us hold you in our esteem for staying with your dad in his time of need. If nothing else proved it, that alone makes you a good man in my book. ;-D

I really hope you have a great time and get some much needed time alone with your girl. Take care of yourself and have fun with her. We'll be here when you get back. ;-D
