How many times can we do this??????? That game was crazy, especially the strip by Brown, just incredible!!!!

Instant classic:
Pats 24 Chargers 21

And a sourgrapes LT makes it even better!!!! IN case you didn't catch his post game comment, he said he refused to shake any Pats players hands because we overcelebrated, and insulted in their home, and that it is a reflection on the head coach. What an ass comment from a normally great guy.

I know a lot of people including myself bash NE a lot and think that they're a very lucky team at times. I can't talk for everyone else but for me it does come down to jealousy. Look at it from my (Jets fan) point of view. Belichick was supposed to be our coach and he basically quit after having the job for a day. Then he goes to a division rival and wins 3 SB's. And even though I'll always hate him for that I really think he made the right decision for himself because the Pats had a better organization at the time (probably still do) and I don't think he would've had as much success with the Jets. But then again, as a Jets fan I can't help but wonder if we'd have at least 1 SB if Belichick was our coach. He's just that good because he takes teams that look inferior on paper and just finds a way to win. One other thing that I'll never forget is when Mo Lewis injured Bledsoe and Brady became the starter. In a way you can say that Mo Lewis is somewhat responsible for Brady even getting a chance to play! So that's another thing that makes me bitter.

Bottom line is that lucky or not the Pats have won 3 SB's and have been one of the best teams of this decade (if not the best). Don't let all the haters bother you and I for one will stop posting VERY negative things about the Pats. I mean if the Jets even won 1 SB and people said they were lucky...I wouldn't care less! So just keep enjoying the run this team has been having for 6 years or so because we all know it's gotta end sometime. Just ask the 49ers.

So congratulations on finding a way to win another game that was really San Diego's for the taking several times. And even though I'll never ever root for the Pats I have huge respect for what Belichick & Brady have done in the 00's. Man I wish Belichick decided to stay with the Jets! :~(

Very sincerely,

FNJ

You are guna stop posting such anti-pats stuff FNJ? I'll believe it when I see it. And with what you were saying with Brady getting his chance, you are 100% right, but that is how not only football but a lot of things in life work. Someone gets their chance and takes advantage of it. I don't generally like to bring up commercials but I will here. Have you seen the Tiki Barber one where he is referring to chances and such? That is fairly accurate. And the Bellichek gonig to the Pats instead of the Jets...yeah it sucks for you, but that isn't the only time in sports something like that has happened.

Wow....so that's the reaction he gets for complementing the Pats? Did he fail to compliment them in the correct way? Do you have a template for giving praise to your team that you'd like to send to us who are unfortunate enough to cheer for other teams?

All in all, good win today, didn't think you would pull it out but good job beating what looked to be a nearly unbeatable team in the regular season. I knew that the only chance you guys had was to make it a Brady vs. Rivers show and although you didn't force that by stopping LT, the Chargers decided (for whatever odd reason) to put the game into the hands of Rivers and in the end I think it was their undoing. Congrats on the win this week, I too wont be cheering for you ever really, but you guys certainly deserve plenty of credit for pulling off a great win.

It pains me to say this, but Fleshner needs to ask RocketsDWM for some lessons on how to win with some class... :-o

LT said that a Patriots player who danced and mimicked Merriman on their logo in the middle of the field showed no class.

But he says nothing about his teamie Merriman who dances over quarterbacks he sacks to mock them. His mocking dance was mocked. Gotta hate it when you're given a dose of your own medicine. :-D oh well, gotta understand how he felt about losing at home. B-)

My thoughts exactly. To read that whole post from FNJ of why the Pats are so awesome and Belichick is such a great coach... to get that response from Fleshner gives me doubts he even read the post...

Anyway I came here to give some Pats Congratz on that amazing win tomorrow and for putting on a great show next week in the RCA dome with the Colts.

Yesterday was a great game but there's more to come which is even sweeter!

Great post ;-D ;-D

This next comment isnt directed at you but just a general comment: I have seen some posters in recent days call their 3 SB's lucky. How you can win 3 SB's by mere luck is beyond me. I guess they were expecting a blowout in the SB.

For next wk: I'll admit, I have zero confidence as a fan going into this game vs the Colts. Their D is on fire and what scares me the most is that Manning hasnt caught on fire. :-o They have two stellar WR's, a great catching TE and two RB's who can control the game. And the game is in the Dome. :-o

Hate to say it, but these Colts have an 04 Sox feeling about them. Favorites to win it all at the start, play like crap for a while in the middle, come good towards the end of the RS then step up big for the playoffs, now finding themselves facing their bete noirs in the semifinal equivalent game...
"I can't say that. I'd have to say having Ryan Leaf quarterback us to a 1-15 record is probably the biggest challenge."

Rodney Harrison, on whether losing Tom Brady to injury was the greatest challenge he has faced in football.
