bye week blues. need help on FA WR/TE

Postby thechill » Thu Oct 24, 2002 8:41 am

scoring is
1 point per Rec
1 point per 10 yards
6 points per TD

with Bruce/Driver/Chambers on bye weeks I need to pick up one WR

best available are
Streets/Dyson/K Robinson/J morton/T Taylor/Stokley/W Jackson/D Thompson/Sharpe/Heap/Wycheck

Wow! That's a tough choice. I'm leaning towards K Robinson,a nd surprisingly two TE (Sharpe and Heap).

NE is #1 defense against the pass, so I'd rule out Sharpe.

Heap plays Pittsburgh who gives up 262 yards/game passing

Robinson plays Dallas who gives up 235 yards/game passing

I'd have to go with Heap on this one, slightly over Robinson. He's been scoring a lot of TD's lately.

TE's are not required. That is why they are still out there. It is a WR/TE slot.

depending if jj stokes is still out, i would grab streets. he has been getting alot of looks these last few games and with how the niners are playing lately, he has a good shot at scoring...

I would go with Thompson against a weak Indy defense. With Mathews at QB, I would expect him to get a lot of touches, 75 yards and a TD
