There is still a lot of racism in the world today, but if it weren't for MLK Jr. it would be 100 times worse. We've come so far, its remarkable.
Still, I think people tend to view other races as "different" which can sometimes lead to racism due to not understanding their cultures, etc. Even though I do think its good that races celebrate their cultures in America, because that's what this country is all about, and that's where we got our "Melting Pot" nickname.
MLK Jr was a revolutionary figure in American history, and we should never stop learning from his values. I couldn't even imagine a segregated society- thanks to MLK Jr. that will never happen.
